Santa made it this year too!
The most exciting, not to mention hectic, stressful and exhausting time of Christmas is undoubtedly the week before and Christmas Eve itself. Yet amidst the strain of Xmas preparation there are, in my mind, a few memorable parts that make it worth the trouble: The kids' excitement and joy, Church, good food and Christmas songs and carols. Here is a clip with behind the scenes footage from Øyåsbakken 13.
One highlight on the 24. was attending the Adventist Church Christmas service. Singing some traditional Christmas songs is a must for creating a Christmas atmosphere, and there the smallest were also given due attention during the children's story. Unfortunately, the family chef had to stay at home to prepare the Xmas meal althought she really wanted to join.
Everyone enjoyed a tasty Christmas dinner except our youngest family member who refused even tasting it to the bitter end. He ended up begging for a banana, which he ate with great satisfaction.
Santa took the time to visit us this year too. He must be beyond the limits of time since he spent about 5 minutes at our place. It is interesting that If one were to assume he works in the realm of standard time, he would have to limit his stay to about two to three ten-thousandths of a second per home! Apparently he doesn't.

Det var en skikkelig fin julelnisse, også så mange pakker han hadde, store også..
Niklas, du var jamen modig som ga nissen en klem, det så ikke ut som du var redd i det hele tatt. Og det var godt nissen ikke gikk ut verandaveien igjen, for det er litt farlig å falle ned der. Godt nissen ble advart.

Jeg synes nok pappa Kjell G gjør en bedre julenisse enn dette, særlig dialekta er mer gjennomført.

Hahaha, fantastisk julevideo! Ble til og med litt kjendis-oppstyr på slutten, når alle tok bilde med nissen. Det er sånn det skal være. God jul videre!

Really nice picture presentation. Performer or interpreter of the Santa made it well this year like in earlier years. Worth booking this Santa for the next year, too.
Just missed Bella saying : "hau hau".
After seeing this show, I feel You all enjoyed this Xmas 2009.
