The Stavdals

Yesterday Niklas didn't cry his heart out when we dropped him off in the kindy. Neither did he cry frantically at the end of the day when we came to pick him up. It's really comforting for us to know that he is bonding with the kindergarten teachers and even a few of the kids in his group. As soon as he was all dressed, the kindy teacher took him to the sand box, and immediately he seemed content, particularly when kicking his boots into the small, puddles. Nothing can beat the fun of splashing puddles. Time I left, and I waved, smiled and slipped away quietly.

We grabbed the bus to the kindy today. Niklas loves looking out the window and flirting with passengers.

He does not yet carry his own back pack, so this was only for the photographer. I had to hold his hand to prevent him from falling.
