Your Balcony view, please
I would like a picture of your balcony view/favourite veiw from your place!
You might argue, I presume, that your place or a site you have some degree of ownership to, is the most beautiful, stunning, breath-taking, dazzling or spectacular in the world. It's not my ambition to go so far as claiming to have the most gorgeous view in the world. I feel inspired by the arctic view from our balcony, though, and if you read on, you'll see for yourself!
Actually, I'd like to challenge you. Please send a picture of your view to my email, and I'll post it here. Wouldn't that be fun?

If you enter this challenge, your name will not be posted, but it would be nice to have some clue as to the approximate location.
Here are a few shots of our balcony view!
-View North-East

-View South-East

Below I welcome your contribution
1st contributor: View at Bjølsen in Oslo, Norway

2nd contributor: Langhaugen, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway

3rd contributor: Close to Vejlefjord, Denmark
Comment: This balcony shot was taken on a fairly bright day with very little cloud cover. Notice the depth and detail in this particular view.

4th contributor: Kvaløysletta, Tromsø, Norway

5th contributor: Álftanes, Iceland
Comment: Across the water in the distance, to the left of the midnight sun, is the glacier that Jules Verne used in his book Journey to the Centre of the Earth--their starting point into the earth.
If it was in the middle of the day, you would see Icelandic horses running
around immediately outside our balcony...
I think Rune needs some serious competition

6th contributor: Downtown Portland, Oregon, U.S.A.

7th contributor: Bjerke, Oslo, Norway

8th contributor: Behind the trees - view of Biejordet, Arendal, Norway

9th contributor: Ikaalinen, Finland
