The Gleaming Gap
After weeks of wiggling the tooth, it gave into the eagerness of a six-year-old. Finally Mathias can truly live up to his kindergarten club title: "The toothless club" as he has now started shedding his milky teeth. The new tooth has already made its way up through the gum. According to Mathias the new tooth is gigantic.
The momentous occasion took place while in kindergarten, and he called daddy's cell phone enthusiastically announcing that he was holding the tooth in his hand and that he was bleeding a bit. In the afternoon he swiftly put it in a small glass of water excitingly awaiting the tooth-fairy's visit at night.
The next morning there were some coins in the glass of water, but no tooth. Mathias noticed that the glass was not the same as the one he had put the tooth into the night before. Unfortunately, the toothfairy (daddy) had by mistake put that glass into the dishwasher. We were afraid Mathias would freak out, but luckily he forgave us and was happy that the tooth had brought him some hard cash comforting himself with the fact that the milky teeth still to be shedded, are a gold mine. Anyways, he has the gap to proove it.

Yay Mathias!! :)
Congrats on losing your first tooth!!!
