Enjoying the winter holiday
Having endured terrible skiing conditions for weeks, luckily the winter holidays offered fantastic weather and sufficient snow for both cross country and downhill. For the first time, Andreas and Thomas were able to use their new slalom skiis.
The boys went slalom-skiing in the slopes of Kroken alpine center. Forcing the skiis through untouched snow up the mountain side of Kval?ya towards the bare peak for a fantastic view was also awesome. Mathias rented slalom gear for one afternoon in a slope for children. It was his second time downhill skiing, yet he was really good at it reaping the benefits of having attended a kindergarten which emphasises outdoor activities. One unique thing about Troms? is that a ten minute drive will take you from the city centre into the spectacular wilderness of the mountains.
