Celebrating a six year old
Blissfully turning six, Mathias got out of bed early to open those magic presents. Enthusiastically he unwrapped the presents, and although Lego was at the top on his list of wants, he was to our surprise equally happy about the soft presents.
Now he is the eldest child in his kindergarten looking forward to hitting off his school-career in the autumn. Two days later, Mathias threw off a birthday party with friends. It's incredible what an extraordinary effect presents have on kids as you can see in these pictures where they're beaming with excitement. Just look at him! That evening he spent hours assembling the different lego-sets.
The "invasion" lasted for a couple of hours, and after they had roamed around for a while, the kids more or less settled down to calmer activities, like here where Mathias surrounded by guests almost as excited as himself, is taring the wrapping off.
Here we jammed nearly everyone in the sofa before a hot snack and cakes.

Mathias ble litt flau da jeg leste kommentaren din for ham, og samtidig var han stolt over at du husket å ha holdt ham da han var baby :)
Tenk at Mathias er blir 6 år. Jeg husker den gangen du sovnet i armene mine i kirka... Da var du baby................:-)
